These countries were created for the same purpose...To settle freed slaves from UK, Canada and USA...... In terms of performance and development, there is not much difference.....Both countries underwent debilitating civil wars around the same time: With Foday Sankoh, a warlord in Sierra Leone and Charles Taylor, the equivalent in Liberia...... However, the huge recent progress was recorded in Liberia where President George Weah lost election and peacefully transfered power to the incoming opposition administration..... Sierra Leone, on the other hand, its leaders have not in recent times handed over power peacefully in an organized manner......Particularly with its current President Bio, who decided to openly rig the national election outcome and install himself as a President even though all foreign election observers declared that the election were neither free nor fair..... Up to today, the election data is still top secret with access only to the electoral commissioner, who announced that Bio is winner with no proof...... This is a huge set back for Sierra Leone, thus makes Liberia a lot more progressive knowledge wise.....And Liberian people are more balanced mentally and socially. That is no one hates all the other tribes like in Sierra Leone where the Mende hates everyone else except speakers of the Mende language.....😢😢
